love your blogs both of them which i just discovered. your new room seems to have all the finixs of the typical french rental: shabby chic armoire made out of violin-type wood that would fetch a hefty sum in the states but here in France is found at every brocante, patterned tiles (you're lucky, you got the Spanishy ones), lack of perpendicular spaces, funny door handles that are spaced way too close to the edge of the wall.didn't know you got to see Ariel Pink and buy victorian vintage. jealous!!I hope you feel better soon -marianne
